These tracks are very different to the ones I produce and engineer for other people [all except the Karen Hunter tracks] showing little of the brutal minimalism and commercial discipline I have for projects beholding to Record Company accountants and target genre expectations.

Of course I don't have access to the production facilities and hire budgets for my own work that I usually have for clients, but it's more fundamental than that.

Here if I don't feel like polishing it any further I stop, if it's too quirky I don't care, if it's too offensive I don't care; if it's too bombastic ... in fact I just don't care.

I just make the music I feel like on the day and it is what it is ...
